M.Ed. Teaching Degree
Further Information
After your Bachelor's degree, the subsequent Master of Education (M.Ed.) again covers two subjects (60 credit points), a practical semester (25 credit points), didactics/educational sciences (20 credit points) and an M.Ed. thesis (15 credit points). While the focus of the B.A. is on the two main academic subjects, the M.Ed. has a stronger emphasis on educational sciences and didactics.
The University of Bonn offers courses in most important school subjects, but not all. When choosing your subjects, we are trying to avoid clashes of timetables.
Within the course of your teaching degree (B.A. or M.Ed.) an obligatory stay abroad of at least three months is required. For further details please see § 4 section 2 of the examination regulations (Link).
