Elnathan John is a Berlin based full time writer. He is the author of the novel "Born on a Tuesday" and four other books. His short stories have been shortlisted twice for the Caine Prize for African Writing, in 2013 and 2015. "Born on a Tuesday" won a Betty Trask Award, the Prize Les Afriques and was shortlisted for the Nigeria Prize for Literature. He currently is teaching creative writing and working on his sixth book.
