Alumni network

Join the Bonn Applied English Linguistics Alumni Group to stay in touch with your fellow students even after you finish your studies. Being a member also gives you the opportunity to network with other alumni members.

Both current and former students are eligible to create an account. When registering for your account, be sure to select "Bonn English Applied Linguistics" as your desired alumni group.

Members will receive a membership card (which allows you to get some discounts around the city!) and have the option of receiving a regular newsletter of events. For more information about the University of Bonn's Alumni Network, click here.

Forum Beruf - Applied linguistics

In cooperation with the Alumni Network of the University of Bonn, we organize an annual Forum Beruf event, where alumni of the M.A. Applied Linguistics program share their experiences with entering the job market, finding internships, and more.

Career Outlook

Not sure where you want your degree to take you? The Career Service provides a range of advice and support about choosing your career and offers seminars and individual career guidance for students. Additionally, the Career Service invites students and graduates to the Career Service's Karrieretag every winter. The Karrieretag usually takes place on the Dies Academicus which is organised by the Studium Universale.
