Eleventh Bonn Applied English Linguistics Conference (BAELc11)

The 11th iteration of the BAEL conference took place on Friday, June 24th and Saturday, June 25th, 2022. The conference took place in Hörsaal 17, IAAK, Regina-Pacis-Weg 5, 53113 Bonn.

The focus of this year’s conference was on Language and Tourism. Papers from all areas of applied linguistics were welcome, however, with a strong preference for papers with an empirical approach. The conference was open to all who were interested but aimed specifically at graduate students (M.A. and PhD) and post-docs.

Professor Dr. Susanne Mohr was the keynote speaker for the BAELc11 with a talk on "Critical perspectives on applied linguistics and tourism research".
